This year bring challenges for online retailers that are small or have been to big on sales before. We now see ebay.com struggling to sell, as a year ago they made a terrible decision to up the price on selling products on EBAY.
7 Years ago I did a study at the University Of Nevada Las Vegas on how spends will soon turn, to more online then land stores. Now this is becoming more true everyday. Stores on land, will and have been closing up for the last year.
The wildest thing is the stores online, that always did well, are now ” Sitting Ducks” For those bloggers that write about their products. See these stores online like Bestbuy.com and sears.com that do not have Adsense on their site, will loose their ranking. Its not only adsense that these novice CTO’s do not see, its being a part of social networks, which they have failed to see.
This is why I am getting a lot of consultation calls from Corporations, that have lost half their traffic to a unknown”. Well this unknown is what Google wants. Google does not care about inlinks to much anymore, as they want to see unique content and not just companies online getting by: From their domain age and rank, without expanding online”[
